Measuring Alcohol Levels


As a commerical brewer, I assume there must be a bunch of pressure (from the FDA and the like) to know exactly how much alcohol is in each bottle of Kombucha you produce.

But…anticipating alcohol levels (even if you stick to a strict recipe) is next to impossible. :exploding_head:

Anyone ever used a refractometer?

Kombucha Brewers International (KBI) recommends using a refractometer to measure the alcohol content in your booch. Sounds/looks so sciency :nerd_face:
